The College of William & Mary Student & Faculty Art Show
The Senior “Studio Art” majors of The Department of Art & Art History at the College of William & Mary will be displaying a variety of art in two dedicated tents on the Wren Lawn. The student art will be juried by the Studio Art Faculty. Faculty members Nicole Santiago & Elizabeth Mead (chair) will be coordinating the college show. Students will create, frame and curate their work as well as staff the tent to give patrons and opportunity to engage the artist themselves. The show will run concurrently with AOFTA 10-5 both days.
Area art teachers have told us how much the event means to them and their schools.
From Warhill: “We work very hard and appreciate being recognized.”
From Hornsby: “Thanks for your hard work.”
From Walshingham: “As always my students love participating in the live art demonstrations. Congratulations on another successful Youth Exhibit!”
One area teacher summed it up: “We, the art teachers, feel very honored and privileged to be a part of the Occasion for the Arts. Thank you!!”
To the Students and teachers who participate in this exhibit and to The Williamsburg Contemporary Art Center and The Junior Women’s Club of Williamsburg for providing hands-on art activities.
