As a visual artist I seek everyday esthetic experiences that add meaning and joy to daily life. For me, photography is a medium that can drive that experience, allowing for a unique event that would not happen otherwise. Nature is most often the source of my experience, which is one of the reasons I enjoy Williamsburg so much. The gardens provide a comfortable and rich source for me to explore and satisfy my esthetic needs.
