Finleyville , PA USA
Influenced early on by the likes of Andrew Wyeth and Sargent as well as Winslow Homer and Hopper Barry, over the years has blended this styles into his own, creating calming and winsome landscapes as well as other subject matter. Hailing originally from Southern West Virginia he now resides south of Pittsburgh, Pa enjoying that rural location. "Many of my paintings are inspired by memories of my grandfathers farm situated on the Greenbrier River in WV. I rarely incorporate people in my paintings as I like for my viewers to get an intimate view of the scene as I saw it, usually alone. I feel it an honor to capture these fleeting images in time."
