Busting out of a grey cubicle farm many years ago, inspired me to experiment with clay and colors. Many layers of colored clay are applied to thin slabs of white clay. I carve designs in the slab, roll it thinner and cut it into shapes to form my pottery. Clear glaze makes the colors pop. There are no subtle political statements, no hidden meanings, or 25 cent words to describe my work. I make colorful pottery and fish for the halibut because I cod.
