Youth Art

Celebrate the Joy of Creativity

We are pleased to have Williamsburg/James City and Upper York County public and private schools participate in the annual AOFTA Youth Art Exhibition and acknowledge the Art Teachers who lead their creative minds with open expression.

The Youth Art exhibition has grown to be a show favorite and show stopper!

Over 1000 individual and collaborative student works in 2D and 3D mediums representing hundreds of classes. The amazing Art Teachers who guide the students are offered an annual “optional” theme to play with. 2024’s theme is “Somewhere in Time” and they can represent it in whatever way their expression comes forward.

Student works are displayed in the Youth Art Tent - 2,500 square feet located on Prince George Street.

The Arc of Greater Williamsburg also showcases their not to be missed creative works in the Youth Art area.

The Williamsburg Contemporary Art Center offers youth art engagement fun, and also nearby are other interactive activities, family friendlsy fun and music along with lots of food and beverage options.

Thank you to the young artists who share their work and the fabulous art teachers who curate this exhibition!
