An Occasion for the Arts is very excited to announce that we are continuing our collaboration with Steve Prince, Director of Engagement & Distinguished Artist In Residence, Muscarelle Museum of Art. Steve engages the greater community with an interactive art project at the Festival that highlights how the individual is part of the whole, and how creativity can be a shared experience that can lead to an inclusive community.

This year, Steve presents the Communal Jigsaw Puzzle Portraits! Participants will create an original jigsaw puzzle individually and collectively. Each person will be given a puzzle piece that they can create an original image of a person that inspires them. All ages are welcome to join in the colorful fun of creating a timeless communal portrait.
