Artist Statement

I view art as a space for dialogue—a quiet yet profound exchange between artist and viewer. My practice begins with a deep engagement with symbols and the visual language of cultural traditions, stories, and heritage. These elements are not only sources of inspiration, but the foundation of my creative exploration. In recent years, my work has become increasingly introspective, as I reconnect with my past and rediscover the colors, rhythms, and memories embedded in personal and collective history. I approach reality not as a fixed truth, but as an evolving idea—something to be felt, remembered, and reinterpreted. My recent paintings mark a return to storytelling. I once heard that when stories are forgotten, they fade into metaphors. Through my art, I aim to preserve and retell these stories—to keep them alive, while also finding a space of imaginative escape within them. This body of work is both a personal reflection and an invitation. I hope you’ll follow me on this journey.
