Artist Statement
Glass is a transformative medium of light, color and contradiction that hopefully stirs the emotion and brings joy to those seeing it. My fusing work is a constant battle between two poles - geometrical precision versus heavy organic nature, functional versus ornamental display, deeply layered versus delicate. I carouse within this paradox, with the inherent tension feeding my creative approach and execution. What is forged through this process are unique objects that seek to be both admired and used.
