Artist Statement
My work is driven by a lifelong fascination with molten glass—its movement, its danger, and its ability to capture life in a frozen moment. I’m inspired by nature in motion: marine life, animals, and organic forms that feel alive, suspended between fluidity and permanence. Fire and breath are central to my process; each piece is shaped through heat, control, and instinct, much like the natural forces that shape the world around us. I’m motivated by the challenge of pushing glass beyond decoration—using color, balance, and form to tell a story and evoke emotion. Every sculpture reflects a dialogue between hot and cold, chaos and precision. My goal is to create work that feels dynamic and timeless, honoring both the raw energy of the flame and the quiet beauty found in nature.
