Artist Statement

Art has been my lifelong companion, from childhood gifts to high school studios. After a long hiatus dedicated to a corporate career, I recently returned to my true passion with a renewed perspective. This shift has allowed me the dedicated time I need to fully immerse myself in the creative process. My work is deeply rooted in the natural world, fueled by a genuine joy for birds and the landscapes they inhabit. Whether I am exploring local trails or visiting botanical gardens and parks while traveling, I am constantly gathering inspiration firsthand. Through my paintings and photography, my goal is to share an appreciation for these quiet, natural moments. I invite you to bring a piece of that inspiration into your own space and hope my work sparks the same connection to nature that drives me to create.
