Artist Statement
My current work of jewelry adornment is fabricated using single geometric shapes in silver or gold that are arranged and positioned together in various ways to create wearable art. The idea for the series originates from one of my favorite childhood toys "Colorforms" in which vinyl shapes were used to build and create to tell stories or display themes. The re-arranging of various sizes and shapes in gold and silver allows me to "play" with many possibilities.
