Artist Statement
This body of work is inspired by my collections of vintage dress patterns. I love the festive illustrations on the covers and the old magazine ads for lingerie, hats, purses, etc. I cut, layer, arrange and adhere the tissue thin paper sewing directions to create my collages. if I can draw it, I can construct it in paper.
