Unleash your own creativity at An Occasion for the Arts during the Chalk Art Competition on Saturday, October 3! Gather a group of friends or family (or create solo!) to recreate or reimagine a masterpiece from the Muscarelle Museum of Art’s permanent collection — right on the pavement. Prizes: $500 First Place, $250 Second Place, $150 Third Place, and three $50 Honorable Mentions.
What’s Provided: Chalk, brushes, a gridded 8’ x 8’ layout, inspiration print-outs, and guidance from on-site staff.
Who Can Join: Groups of any size! Beginners and experienced artists alike are welcome.
